Ellington Field, a joint use military and civilian field is located
approximately 15 miles from downtown Houston, Texas and its central
business district, convention center, and professional sports
venues.
From downtown Houston (North)
Take the Gulf Freeway (I-45) southbound and exit at Dixie Farm
Road (FM1959 / Exit#30] - Ellington Field exit, head east on FM1959.
This will take you straight into Ellington Field through the main
entrance.
From Galveston (South)
Take the Gulf Freeway (I-45) northbound and exit at Dixie Farm
Road (FM1959) [Exit#30], head east on FM1959. This will take you
straight into Ellington Field through the main entrance.
